Quality Change Principles - Module 3-3

Quality Change Principles:

The quality change principals are guides for companies that want to improve their performance. Those guides have tools that help during the implementation of those changes.

- Brainstorming: It is when a group meet to discuss a problem to find the best solution.
- Priority Worksheet: Is a rank that can be done to prioritize what is most important.
- Cause and Effect Analysis(Fishbone Diagrams): It is a technic that involves brainstorming and pushes you to find all the causes of a problem and not only the most obvious ones. It is also used on the "A"(analyze) of DMAIC during the Six Sigma process.

Fishbone diagram is one method to find out root cause

To create this diagram you should first start creating the head with the problem that needs to be studied. After you define the problem you will need to start to create at least 4 causes that made the problem happened. After that, you will need to brainstorm with your team about this causes that lead to the real problem.
