Chapter 2 Business Analysis Key Concepts



There are six main core concepts of business analysis.
The Business Analysis Core Concept Model is a conceptual framework for business analysis. The six core concepts in the Business Analysis are: Change, Need, Solution, Stakeholder, Value, and Context. 

Change: The act of transformation in response to a need.
 
Need: A problem or opportunity to be addressed.
 
Stakeholder: A group or individual with a relationship to the change, the need, or the solution.

Value: The worth, importance, or usefulness of something to a stakeholder within a context.

Context: Provide understanding of the change.

For example, Bell MTS use these six core concepts to develop their business. For the Change model, people can change cellphone plan or pay the monthly fees by online. Furthermore, they released some application to find what customers need. Bell MTS also offer technology help, they have all application called SIM Services can help customer to contact the customer service to solve the technology issues.
